Field Service Engineer
Location: Ideally based between Manchester and Oxford (covering the central region of the UK)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing UK team. You will play a key role in supporting customers across the region, providing maintenance, repair and services on a range of automated packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site service, maintenance, and breakdown support for packaging machinery (e.g. tray sealers, MHWs, baggers, sleevers, thermoformers, etc.)
- Carry out equipment installations and commissioning at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Deliver excellent customer service and technical support, ensuring minimal downtime for clients
- Work closely with the wider service engineering team to share knowledge and support rotational overtime and call-out duties
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
About You
- The ideal candidate will have worked within a Service Engineering role before, we are open to industry sector.
- Education: HNC, B-Tec, Apprenticeship trained or similar. Within a relevant technical discipline (electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics)
- Experience within the food or packaging machinery industry is highly advantageous but by no means essential
- Comfortable with regular travel and occasional weekend, or night work as required
- Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn and develop within a dynamic engineering environment
- Team-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
