Are you ready to take the next step in your HR career? Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior People Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to make a significant impact by providing strategic and operational HR support across the organisation.

About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Lead with Excellence: Set the standard by mentoring and developing high-performing teams. Your leadership will empower individuals to flourish and meet their full potential.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring HR initiatives align seamlessly with business needs.
  • Champion Wellbeing: Provide expert guidance on employee relations, wellbeing, and absence management, fostering a healthy and supportive work environment.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data analytics to inform HR strategies, enabling smarter and more efficient processes that propel business success.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement changes to HR practises and culture, ensuring the organisation evolves with the workforce's dynamic demands.
  • Strategic HR Support: Align HR initiatives with business goals, maintaining a proactive approach to meet the organisation's changing needs.
  • Manage Appraisals: Oversee appraisal moderation meetings, coach line managers on constructive feedback, and ensure fair grading distribution.
  • Support Wellbeing & Absence: Advise on mental health and absence-related issues, providing support for complex occupational health cases.
  • Update Policies: Advise on company policies and contribute to their evolution, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Lead Projects: Participate in national HR projects aimed at enhancing the HR function and driving business success.

What We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications such as CIPD or Strategic Human Resource Management preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practises.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience in line management (preferred).
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
