Amazing pay rates (inc. of holidays):

Between times 06:00 - 16:00 - £20.01

Between 16:00 - 22:00 - £21.94

Between 22:00 - 06:00 - £24.08

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team,specialisingin the transportation of timber. If you have a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road-worthiness
• Secure timber loads using ratchet straps to prevent movement during transit
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sites
• Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E)licence
• Experience usingratchet straps to secure loads though not essential as training can be provided
• Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph card
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Excellent driving record with no major infringements
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
