Amazing pay rates (inc. of holidays):
Between times 06:00 - 16:00 - £20.01
Between 16:00 - 22:00 - £21.94
Between 22:00 - 06:00 - £24.08
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team,specialisingin the transportation of timber. If you have a strong work ethic and excellent driving skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV to transport timber products to various locations
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and road-worthiness
- Secure timber loads using ratchet straps to prevent movement during transit
- Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sites
- Adhere to delivery schedules while maintaining a high level of safety
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E)licence
- Experience usingratchet straps to secure loads though not essential as training can be provided
- Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and tachograph card
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
- Excellent driving record with no major infringements
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
