Associate Geotechnical Engineer (Remediation)

Location: Flexible (UK-wide)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Geotechnical Engineer (Remediation) to join the senior technical leadership team at one of the UK's most ambitious and well-established land regeneration contractors.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, commercially astute professional who thrives in a contractor-led environment and is looking to play a key role in the delivery of complex, high-value regeneration projects across the UK.

The Role

As an Associate Geotechnical Engineer (Remediation), you will:

  • Lead and manage major land remediation projects (values ranging from 2m to 80m).
  • Coordinate closely with design consultancies, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle - from technical design to delivery and commercial oversight.
  • Work closely with the leadership team on business development, value engineering, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Combine technical acumen with practical, contractor-led project execution.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Chartered (CEng, CGeol or similar), with a strong technical background in geotechnical or geo-environmental engineering.
  • Experienced in delivering large-scale, complex land remediation and brownfield regeneration projects in the UK.
  • Commercially minded with experience in negotiation and client-facing responsibilities.
  • Ambitious, flexible, and entrepreneurial, with a desire to grow toward a Director-level role.
  • Comfortable working from home, on-site, and in the office as required.
