Lichfield Reynolds was established in 1984 by Robin Lichfield and Geoffrey Reynolds. Our first office was in Commerce Street, Longton, where we are still located.

Job Role:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, providing expert legal advice, and delivering high-quality client service. The role will be primarily office based due to the nature of the work.
Main Responsibilities:
To deal effectively with a caseload of Will and Probate and LPA matters.
To ensure that cases are properly progressed in terms of correctness of legal advice, accuracy and speed
To ensure that good professional relations are maintained with clients and others.
To ensure that the cases are dealt with to a conclusion
To comply with the office management manual procedures
To meet fee earning targets
To supervise and guide support staff.
To meet requirements with regard to training hours and to undertake any specific training or refresher courses as may be required.
To attend in-house meetings as necessary in connection with departmental business, administration
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and clients.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), with a current practising certificate
Demonstrable post-qualification experience (PQE) in a relevant area of law (e.g. conveyancing, family, litigation, etc.)
Sound knowledge of the legal system and procedures, including applicable legislation, case law, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. SRA Codes of Conduct)
Excellent client care and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, practical legal advice
Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
Proficient in using legal case management systems and common IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
A proactive and professional approach to compliance, risk management, and confidentiality
