Your Role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • Support children as they begin their journey with reading, writing, speaking, and social skills
  • Be actively involved in imaginative play, creative activities, and interactive lessons
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners
  • Celebrate those magical "Eureka!" moments that make early years education so rewarding
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support every child's development

Requirement

  • Experience in an EYFS setting is essential
  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable (but not required)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and key development milestones
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive, proactive approach
  • A current DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Confidence to work across multiple school settings when needed
