Rotating Machinery Services hold 35 years of experience working with industrial equipment. Supplying engineers on-site to carry out servicing and repairs to equipment.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of electrical systems and projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending various sites to complete the following;

  • Electrical installation to include single/three phase supplies, installing tray work and conduit.
  • Maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Conduct regular inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to support ongoing projects
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Produce detailed reports and documentation for all electrical work completed
  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment
  • Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current edition of IET Wiring Regulations
  • Basic plc fault finding advantageous
  • Panel building advantageous
  • Assist building and wiring machines in workshop
  • Install new machines on site including power supply and control wiring

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within an industrial or commercial setting
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit design
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IET wiring regulations, health and safety)
  • Clean driving licence
  • Electrical installation experience to include lighting systems.
  • Provide own basic tools
  • Inspection and testing preferable
