Sonic Summary
- We are seeking a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a mobile engineering team for building services and plant room maintenance in Staffordshire and Cheshire.
- The position is permanent, offering a salary of up to £47,000 - £48,000 per year, with additional overtime opportunities available.
- Candidates should possess a Level 3 recognized professional engineering qualification, preferably in electrical engineering, and have a multiskilled background.
- Experience in building maintenance within a commercial environment and familiarity with compliance and PPM paperwork is essential.
- A valid driving license and the ability to pass security and financial checks are required, as the role involves mobile operations.
The role is aPermanentposition paying up to 47-48k basic. Mon-Fri days (door to door).
Overtime available (x1.5/x2.0). Standby 1 in 4 - 5 (150 standby payment)
Duties & Responsibilities
Completing building services / electrical maintenance across industrial, governmental, and commercial facilities.
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
Work on AHU's, fans coils and general HVAC plant room
Mechanical and fabric tasks where required
Compliance checks
Small works projects
Lead works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors
Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records
Skills & Background Required
Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician
Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general HVAC plant including AHU's, fan coils etc.
18th edition
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records
Able to clear security check and financial check
Driving license and willing to operate on a mobile basis
Familiar with Facilities Management Sector
