Commercial Finance Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner

I am currently recruiting for an organisation that is part of one of the largest Sales and Marketing agencies globally, that is is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our dynamic European finance team. This role offers a unique blend of strategic financial planning and commercial guidance, ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes to support strategic business decisions.
  • Build robust financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to enhance business performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering financial insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to assess customer profitability, pricing models, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Manage financial reporting and planning relationships with the US Head Office and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support external audits, ensure compliance with corporate tax planning, and contribute to ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of streamlined management reporting and continue the automation of monthly reporting processes.
  • Act as a true  Business Partner throughout the organisation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Experience with US-based parent companies and international finance teams.
  • Track record of successful system implementations and process improvements.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability metrics.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI equivalents).
  • Exposure to SAGE Intacct, Nectari, Business Central, Nav, or similar enterprise systems.
