We are currently searching for a Finishing Manager on a large student accommodation scheme in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. The role is due to start in the next 2 weeks and they need an experienced Finishing Manager who is capable of delivering an extensive internals package, working alongside a Senior Site Manager.

The role:

• Oversee all finishing and fit-out stages, including plastering, painting, flooring, ceilings, and final installations.
• Subcontractor Coordination Schedule, direct, and supervise subcontractors delivering interior packages.
• Quality Control Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishes in line with client specifications and project standards.
• Snagging & De-snagging Lead snagging processes, manage resolution of defects, and ensure areas are handed over snag-free.
• Health & Safety Oversight Maintain safety standards during finishing works, especially in confined or occupied areas.
• Handover Preparation Prepare completed areas for final inspections and ensure documentation is in place for smooth handover.

Required:

• 3+ years experience specialising in internal fitout packages, ideally in the residential sector.
• Main contractor experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
