We are currently looking for a Flexi fork lift truck driver
Key duties & Responsibilities:
- The role will entail the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Unloading and loading cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck VNA MHE or by hand.
- Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
- Wrap and unwrap of goods.
- Stock management
- Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
- Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
- Daily housekeeping within the Warehouse and site.
Compensation: 3 x shift system - rota
- Days - 06:00 - 18:00
- Noon - 18:00 - 22:00
- Nights - 22:00 - 06:00
Requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Applicants must have worked in alogistics/warehouseenvironment before and have previous loading/unloading vehicles and experience of operating VNA/Flexi/Bendi articulated lift truck.
- Bendi/Flexi Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers would be an advantage
- Order pick and stock count
- Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Ability to function well as part of a team
- Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety
- Ability to work under pressure
- Punctual and reliable
