The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing the full KS1 curriculum, ensuring that teaching is engaging, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive, purposeful, high quality learning environment which encourages, inspires and enables children to reach their fullest potential
- Having high standards of positive behaviour for learning, in line with the school's behaviour policies
- Adapting lessons and the environment to suit the needs of all children
- Implement teaching and learning strategies to improve pupils growth
The successful candidate will:
- Have prior experience working with children
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum
- Have an understanding of a culturally diverse school
- Be flexible and work well as part of a team
- Show an ability to foster a culture of respect and openness; reflecting the ethos and values of the school.
