Prevent and Serious Violence Lead – 6-Month Pilot ProjectLocation: Civic Centre, Stoke-On-Trent, ST4 1RNPay: £400 per dayContract: 6 months (with potential for extension)Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37 hours per week)We are one of ten Local Authorities selected to take part in a national 6-month Home Office pilot. This project will test the viability of multi-agency oversight for referrals that do not meet the Prevent threshold but still present a risk of serious violence or show a concerning interest in mass violence.We are seeking an experienced and confident professional to lead on the delivery of this project.Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of the pilot within the local area
  • Develop and maintain strong multi-agency partnerships
  • Oversee referrals and assess risk in relation to serious violence and extremism
  • Provide professional insight and guidance in multi-agency settings
  • Monitor, report and contribute to national learning from the pilot
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in managing serious violence, Prevent, and safeguarding concerns
  • Proven ability to lead and influence in a multi-agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation and policy in relation to Prevent and public protection
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
