Job Overview:

We at Work Lyf Group are recruiting for a Dispatch Supervisor (£30,000 per annum - negotiable on experience) for our client based in Fenton, working within the PVC window/door manufacturing industry. We are looking for an organised individual to become our Dispatch Supervisor, this includes overseeing and coordinating dispatch operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Ensure the most effective distribution of labour in the team

Correctly complete RTWs for employees when they have been absent

Perform team briefing meeting with the team when required

Ensure team members are working in a safe environment and are following H&S precautions

Plan and foresee trends in the volume of product through the department

Perform Informal Discussions when needed with an employee when their conduct falls below Company Standards

Ensure team work towards and meet agreed daily and weekly targets

Ensure the vehicles have been loaded in a safe manner

Waste management, compacting, offcuts and bins

Be able to evaluate a load safely for lifting

Investigate any missing items off a load and resolve the issue before delivery is made

Liaise with other departments such as Customer Service and Transport to overcome operation issues

Resolve customer complaints via portal

Checking Goods In when items or collections are turned on our vehicles

Effectively using our scan system

Monday Thursday 10:00 19:00 and Friday 08:00 17:00 with an hour unpaid break included. Additional time may be needed until loading has been completed.
