Role Responsibilities- Manage and review a varied portfolio of personal tax compliance clients
- Provide technical input on advisory projects involving inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust planning
- Lead and develop the tax team, overseeing day-to-day workflow and coaching junior staff
- Collaborate closely with the wider leadership team to shape the future of the tax department
- Ensure high technical standards and compliance with evolving legislation
- Act as a key point of contact for high-value and long-standing clients
- Play an active role in strategic growth, business development, and succession planning

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualified - this is a must for this senior leadership role
- A strong background in personal tax compliance, with advisory exposure across IHT, CGT, and trusts
- Proven experience managing and developing a team in a practice environment
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to explain complex matters clearly to clients and colleagues
- Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and a proactive mindset
- A desire to step into a long-term leadership role and influence the direction of the department
- £60,000 to £75,000 per annum
