We're currently on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the wonderful world of early years education.
If you love seeing a child's eyes light up when they discover something new, and you're ready to be a guiding hand in those all-important first steps in learning, this role is for you!
Your Role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:
- Support children as they begin their journey with reading, writing, speaking, and social skills
- Be actively involved in imaginative play, creative activities, and interactive lessons
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners
- Celebrate those magical 'Eureka!' moments that make early years education so rewarding
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support every child's development
Requirement
- Experience in an EYFS setting is essential
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable (but not required)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and key development milestones
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive, proactive approach
- A current DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
- Confidence to work across multiple school settings when needed
