Aspire People are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team with supporting our client schools. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring individual to support children in Key Stage 1, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities, as well as providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups. You will also play an essential role in maintaining a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support Learning Activities: Assist the Class Teacher with planning and delivering lessons, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
- Provide Interventions: Work with individuals or small groups to support their learning and development.
- Classroom Environment: Help create and maintain an engaging and safe classroom environment, including displays and organization
- Well-being Support: Provide care and support to students, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Adherence to School Policies: Assist in maintaining school policies related to behaviour, equal opportunities, and safeguarding.


Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school environment.
- A passion for supporting young learners and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Knowledge of literacy and numeracy development in the early years is desirable.
