Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters/Assemblers on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, who are a Trailer manufacturer in the ST3area.
What will you be doing?
- Assembling & fitting of Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatics systems/componentsonto HGV Trailers.
- Working from detailed and technical schematics/drawings and working to precise specifications.
- Making sure all work is completed to a high quality and accurately.
- Quality checking all work completed and resolving any issues that may have arisen.
- Working as part of a team and/or on your own to finish work within atimely and efficient manner.
What will you need to succeed for this role?
- You will need to have proven previous experience within Mechanical assembly or fitting.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Mechanical processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatic Systems.
- A good keen eye to detail and precision in your work.
- Previous experience and good understanding in reading/working with engineering drawings.
- Experience working with various hand, power & air tools.
- Ability to work on your own or a part of a team.
What's in it for you?
- Hourly rate starting out 12.60p/h up to 14.50p/h dependent on experience.
- Overtime paid at a premium.
- Day shift, with an early finish on Fridays.
