We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, efficient inventory management, and high service standards within our logistics division.
Key Responsibilities
Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors and forklift operators.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement control measures to prevent discrepancies.
Optimise space and processes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor equipment maintenance and vendor relationships.
Implement continuous improvements to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Prepare reports on warehouse activity, KPIs, and operational performance.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing a high-performing warehouse, ideally within 3PL/contract logistics.
Experience using WMS systems (SnapFil experience advantageous).
Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development skills.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Commercially aware, adaptable, and able to drive process improvements.
