Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background with mechanical and some electrical experience, looking to work a Mon to Fri role with no night shifts?Do you have experience with manufacturing machinery and want to play a key role in the manufacturing processes in a key supplier to its market?On offer is the opportunity to join an established, inclusive and collaborative business who are the UK market leader within their industry.This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will help optimise manufacturing processes and ensure unplanned stops of production facilities are kept to a minimum by effective maintenance of plant and equipment.The role:

  • Develop and execute PPM system to ensure zero stoppages
  • Dealing with breakdowns and servicing of plant and equipment
  • Ensure adequate parts/supplies are available for maintenance activities
  • Installation and commissioning of plant and equipment
  • Reading of electrical, mechanical, and fluid drawings
  • General day-to-day maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of rules, procedures and Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety legislation
  • Maintain a high standard of 5S

The Person:

  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing machinery.
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with knowledge of CNC machines
