Cover Supervisor - Stoke-on-Trent - ASAP Start - Daily Supply

Are you a confident individual capable of managing a classroom but not a qualified teacher?

This Cover Supervisor role could be the perfect next step for you!

Academics are working closely with Secondary Schools across Stoke-on-Trent, who are in immediate need of flexible Cover Supervisors to step in and support a range of classes on a daily supply basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be expected to deliver pre-set lessons, keeping students on task, and managing behaviour management with confidence - all without the pressure of planning and marking! Classes will typically be KS3 and KS4 and across a range of subjects (subject specialism is also welcomed). You'll need to maintain a positive and productive learning environment for students. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching or looking to build experience in education.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
• Experience working with young people in any capacity (schools, youth work, sports coaching etc).
• Strong subject knowledge of Maths and English (evidenced by GCSEs).
• Confidence delivering lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Enhanced, clean DBS Certificate (can be processed through Academics).
