Description

  • Managing and developing relationships with suppliers.
  • Driving strategic initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
  • Developing and implementing supplier performance management systems.
  • Oversea end-to-end procurement policies and procedures from pre and post contract, to supplier review and compliance.
  • Resolving supplier-related issues and improving service levels.
  • Conducting supplier risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Managing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Leading supplier negotiation activities to achieve cost reduction targets.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Profile

A successful Supplier Relationship Officer should have:

  • A degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the technology and telecoms industry.
  • CIPS level 4 or working towards CIPS qualification.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and supplier performance management tools.
  • Ability to resolve supplier-related issues and improve service levels.
  • Understanding of supplier risk management and contract management.
