Material Planner Specialist Needed!

Are you an experienced professional looking to take your career to the next level? This company is seeking a talented Material Planner Specialist to join their dynamic team. If you have a passion for supply chain management and a knack for optimizing production processes, this could be the perfect role for you. As the Material Planner Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's production and manufacturing schedules, as well as procuring the necessary materials and services. Your key duties will include:

  • Creating, controlling, and maintaining inventory levels for materials, direct consumables, and made-in-house or purchased SKUs
  • Generating manufacturing orders and work orders through the MRP system to support the company's sales and business plans
  • Coordinating with the procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
  • Identifying and communicating potential supply chain risks and implementing recovery actions
  • Continuously improving processes and eliminating non-value-added activities using lean methodologies

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic experience in sales, inventory, and operations planning, including coordinating manufacturing and supply chain routings, sub-contract work order management, and engineering change management
  • Proven ability to work well with others at all organizational levels, to organize and prioritize, and to participate on cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP processes, preferably with experience in Navision
