We at Work Lyf Group are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our client’s team and support the smooth operation of the procurement processes. As a Purchasing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our client’s supply chain runs efficiently, helping them maintain strong supplier relationships and meet the needs of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Raising and expediting purchase orders to meet business demands
- Communicating with suppliers via phone and email
- Coordinating delivery schedules, managing back orders, and resolving shortages or returns
- Matching supplier order confirmations with internal purchase orders
- Maintaining accurate pricing and stock ordering policies
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless purchasing support
- Handling ad-hoc indirect purchasing requests
- Attending occasional face-to-face supplier meetings
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute unpaid break)
