Events Coordinator

Location: Hanley

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am -4pm

Salary: Up  to £25,000 (DOE)

The Role:

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Events Coordinator to deliver a varied programme of business events, training sessions, and partner-led activities. This is a hands-on role managing events from planning through to delivery, with a strong focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of events and training sessions
  • Manage suppliers, client queries, bookings, payments, and post-event reporting
  • Host and support both in-person and virtual events, ensuring smooth execution
  • Research and develop new event ideas to engage members and businesses
  • Gather stories and images to support event marketing campaigns
  • Maintain accurate records, payments, and reporting through CRM systems
  • Liaise with speakers, partners, and stakeholders, providing professional support
  • Support setup/pack-down of events and room hire, including refreshments

About You:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in events management or coordination
  • Confident working with digital platforms and CRM systems
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with the ability to host events
