an opportunity to join a well-established, successful, family-run business, who are looking for a Sales Administrator / Order Administrator to join their friendly and dedicated team. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and excellent communication across departments. You will also support the sales team with administrative tasks and maintain sales reporting using Sage 200.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders using the company's system.
  • Confirm order details with customers, ensuring accurate pricing, product info, and delivery dates.
  • Track order progress from placement through to delivery and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding order status, shipping, and delivery time lines.
  • Prepare and maintain regular reports on order volume, backlogs, and fulfilment performance.
  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and shipment errors.
  • Assist the sales team with quotes, order confirmations, and administrative support.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders and contracts

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administration, sales support, or customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Sage 200 (or similar ERP systems) preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with a problem-solving approach and customer-first mindset.

Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar administrative, logistics, or sales support role.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
  • 35 hours per week
