Sports Graduate - Secondary School Support Role (Stoke-on-Trent)


Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: 90-130 per day

Are you a recent Sports Science or Physical Education graduate looking to kick-start your career in education? Do you have a passion for inspiring young people and a desire to make a real impact in the classroom and on the sports field?

We are a leading education recruitment company working with secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, and we're currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic sports graduates to support students both academically and physically.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates who are considering a career in teaching, coaching, or youth work, and want hands-on experience in a secondary school setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting PE lessons and leading small group sports activities
  • Assisting teachers in the classroom with behaviour management and academic support
  • Working one-to-one with pupils to boost engagement and learning
  • Helping to organise school sports events, clubs and after-school activities
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor to students

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Sports Science, PE, Sports Coaching or a related subject
  • Confidence in managing groups of young people in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine interest in education
  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., coaching, mentoring, volunteering) is a bonus but not essential
