  • Aged 22 or over (to meet Ofsted regulations)
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
  • A full manual UK driving licence
Your role as a Senior Support Worker:
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Be a positive role model, helping children build confidence and independence
  • Support children who may require high levels of care and supervision
  • Lead shifts and provide guidance to the care team
  • Ensure placement plans, rotas, risk assessments and safeguarding protocols are followed
  • Promote education, emotional wellbeing, and a safe, supportive environment
