Hays are looking to recruit 3 cover supervisors to work for us on a flexible, ad-hoc basis at our partnership secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.

Cover supervisors supervise the pupils, carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set. No planning, preparation or marking is required. This is more of a class supervisor position and therefore, no formal qualifications are required. However, some experience in the last few years of working with children is essential.

Your working hours will typically be between 8:30-3:30pm and you can choose the days you want to work each week. You will be paid on a weekly basis and be able to have a flexible work-life balance with this particular position, as the days you work each week can vary to working around other commitments or lifestyle choices you have.
