We are currently recruiting for Teaching and Learning Assistants who are passionate, reliable, and committed to supporting children's learning and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Provide individual and small-group support to help pupils access learning
- Providing learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes under the professional direction of a qualified teacher.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils
- Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment of pupils as agreed with the teacher.
- Promote positive behaviour and support emotional and social development
What We're Looking For:
- Be able to demonstrate the professional standards for Teaching Assistants, relevant qualification or evidence that the qualification is being worked towards.
- Have knowledge and understanding of primary pedagogy and child development.
- Be passionate about inclusion.
- Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach have high expectations for themselves and the children in their care.
- Be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge, understanding and experience of Key Stage 1 and 2 as well as Early Years
