Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging, imaginative lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, tailored to Year 3 learners
- Inspire a love of learning through practical tasks, cross-curricular projects, and interactive teaching
- Create a safe, supportive classroom where every child feels valued, confident, and ready to thrive
- Use a variety of assessment strategies to track progress and inform next steps
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to support both academic and emotional growth
- Take part in school life, including events, clubs, and collaborative planning
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Has experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 (preferred but not essential)
- Is a flexible and reflective educator with strong behaviour management and differentiation techniques
- Shows a clear commitment to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
- Possesses excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Is passionate about lifelong learning, creative teaching, and making a difference
