Responsibilities
- Load and unload products
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Utilise a warehouse management system - use an electronic Hand held device.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as necessary, following all safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control measures
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
