Senior Field Service Engineer
Stone (3 days a week)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems for customer issues, maintenance, and resolutions.
- Provide technical support to both customers and colleagues, addressing technical requirements and queries.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in complex systems.
- Support Sales & Tendering teams by sharing customer and site-specific expertise.
- Prepare technical documents, including test specifications and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management, Safety, and accounting procedures.
- Manage customer spares and standby systems effectively.
- Develop method statements and risk assessments for on-site activities.
- Adhere to the company Electrical Safety Management System.
- Recognise and manage environmental risks relevant to the business unit.
Skills & Experience
- Strong industry experience, with flexibility to work at sites nationwide.
- Solid knowledge of SCADA, RTUs, electrical protection, and critical telecommunications solutions.
- Familiarity with communication networks and IEC61850.
- Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written English skills.
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
