About This Role

In this role, you will work alongside local and global engineering teams to support the design, development, and maintenance of electronic systems. Youll be involved in both sustaining current products and contributing to the creation of new ones. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teamsincluding firmware, mechanical, and designyou will play a key role in developing innovative electronic solutions and ensuring product quality and performance.


Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing electronic systems for new products.
  • Maintaining and supporting the current product range.
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.


What We're Looking For


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree (BEng, BSc or higher) in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in a similar electronic engineering role.
  • Experience working under an ISO9001 Quality Management System.


Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience with 3-phase motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and sensorless control.
  • Proficiency in mixed-signal and analogue circuit design.
  • Experience in embedded systems and microcontroller-based product design.
  • Knowledge of digital communication protocols: Serial (RS232, RS485), SPI, I2C.
  • Skilled in debugging, simulating, and validating PCBs and electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance processes, including LVD and EMC requirements.
  • Proficient in using ECAD/PCB design tools, particularly Altium Designer.
  • Strong collaboration skills across various engineering disciplines.


Desirable Criteria:

  • Understanding of thermal management and heat dissipation in high-power electronics.
  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Zigbee.
  • Familiarity with low-power design for battery-operated/mobile systems.
  • Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on hardware solutions.
  • Experience with safety-critical systems and hazard analysis (e.g., FMEA, fault tree analysis).
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC shielding and grounding techniques.
  • Experience with data logging, cloud-based applications, or IoT platforms.
  • Exposure to robotic or automated systems and API-based modular control.
