MERITUS are recruiting for an Electrial Assembler to join a Wiring team in Staffordshire in a permanent deal to work on exciting commercial energy projects.

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER - NEG - STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE - PERMANENT - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Assembler with at least 3 years of industry experience and the ability to read electrical schematic drawings. You will join our assembly and test team, working on the wiring and mechanical build of electrical panels and sub-assemblies. At times, you may lead a production bay, ensuring quality standards and accurate completion of assembly records. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical components and sub-assemblies from drawings and specifications.

  • Carry out mechanical assembly of cubicles, frameworks, and panels.

  • Complete assembly record cards for traceability and compliance.

  • Ensure work quality and resolve rework identified during inspections.

  • Communicate technical issues to design engineers.

  • Support project deadlines and continuous improvement activities.
