Management Accountant

Stonehouse (4 days in the office)

£45,000 - £50,000

A hands-on, number two finance role in a Stonehouse manufacturing business that has experienced tremendous growth in the last few years. A great opportunity to take responsibility for management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting and the annual audit in this growing medium sized business.

Main responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
Reporting against prior year and budget
Management reporting in areas such as sales, gross margin, stock and debtors
Development of KPIs that measure company performance
Posting of accruals and prepayments
Monthly control account reconciliations
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Production of VAT returns

Candidate background

Could be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
Experience of the manufacturing sector would be ideal
Good experience of management accounting and reporting is important
Proficient with ERPs and a high level of proficiency with Excel
