Lead Maintenance Engineer required for a renowned food manufacturer with a global presence. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to step into a lead position within a supportive team who can offer development and progression.
The Lead Maintenance Engineer role would suit multiskilled engineers with experience of working in a FMCG environment. You will have PLC fault finding experience and will hold a relevant apprenticeship (or equivalent).
The Lead Maintenance Engineer role is a hands-on position responsible for leading planned maintenance and fault diagnostics. You will work in a pair and will act as the technical authority on the shift.
The Lead Maintenance Engineer Role:
· Technical lead on site per shift – driving continuous improvement, mentoring the team and coordinating maintenance activities
· PPMs and Reactive Maintenance
· Working with conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, PLCs etc.
· Support the installation of new equipment
· Shift handovers
The Lead Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
· Experienced multi skilled engineer
· Experience in a FMCG environment (or similar)
· Apprentice trained (or equivalent)
