Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all inspection, documentation, and testing activities are performed accurately
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all materials supplied to and from the organisation
  • Complete inspections in Goods Inwards/Despatch and Work in-process environments
  • Manage the calibration system for inspection instruments
  • Conduct thorough inspections of components and assemblies using Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP)
  • Document findings clearly, identifying deficiencies and non-conformance
  • Utilise Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment and basic mechanical measurement tools
  • Assess painted components for adhesion, thickness, and quality
  • Evaluate welded components for quality using visual and basic measurement techniques
  • Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven experience in quality control inspection
  • Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and documentation
  • Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Familiarity with Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of calibration systems and procedures
  • Relevant certifications in quality control or inspection
