Job Title: QC Inspector

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all inspection, documentation, and testing activities are performed accurately
- Act as the primary point of contact for all materials supplied to and from the organisation
- Complete inspections in Goods Inwards/Despatch and Work in-process environments
- Manage the calibration system for inspection instruments
- Conduct thorough inspections of components and assemblies using Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP)
- Document findings clearly, identifying deficiencies and non-conformance
- Utilise Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment and basic mechanical measurement tools
- Assess painted components for adhesion, thickness, and quality
- Evaluate welded components for quality using visual and basic measurement techniques
- Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Proven experience in quality control inspection
- Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and documentation
- Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Familiarity with Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of calibration systems and procedures
- Relevant certifications in quality control or inspection
