Paraplanner - Hybrid Working - Up to £35,000

Location: Dudley, West MidlandsJob Type: Full-time, Permanent

An established and reputable financial planning firm based in the Dudley area is looking for a driven and detail-focused Paraplanner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial services support who is ready to develop their career in paraplanning.

This role offers hybrid working once initial training has been successfully completed and competency has been demonstrated.

This role is suitable for either a Paraplanner who is already operating within the role, or an Administrator within an IFA setting who is looking to progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of clear, accurate and compliant suitability reports for pensions, investments, and protection advice.

  • Draft letters for fund switches, top-ups, and other client communications.

  • Prepare product illustrations and collate supporting compliance documents.

  • Ensure all client records are accurately maintained and updated on internal systems.

  • Work closely with financial planners to support them in delivering a high standard of client service.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a financial services environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.

  • Report writing experience is desirable.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Defaqto or SelectaPension would be beneficial.
