The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in solar farm and BESS construction, ICP works and system voltages ranging from 11kV to 132kV, including maintenance and troubleshooting activities in these sectors. The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and civil drawings is essential.You will be: * Supervision of Electricians and Electricians' Mates* Support the Site Manager by overseeing and coordinating the work of the team.* Assist in planning electrical installations, layout designs, and project timelines.o Carry out complex installations and maintenance on DC, LVAC, and HV systems.o Perform works on solar farms, BESS, and ICP-related infrastructure.o Conduct electrical testing: AC, DC, HV, LV, communication systems.o Work with switchgear, transformers, CTs, VTs, LV distribution boards, solar modules Inverter troubleshooting o Ability to terminate and gland cables, including familiarity with larger size cables.o Perform continuity and verification checks on all cable types.o Installation and mounting of Electrical enclosures, Cable trays /ladder racks* Manage workforce, tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and used efficiently.* Act as an ambassador when interacting with external and internal customers, providing excellent service.* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate efforts and address any site-related challenges.* Maintain accurate records* Provide training and technical guidance to Electricians and Electricians' Mates..You will have:* Minimum of level 2/3 City & Guilds electrical installation or electrical engineering* City & Guilds 17/18th BS7671 Wiring Regs* Proven Experience in Solar Farm Construction OR BESS Construction OR ICP works with system voltages 11kV-33kV. * Electrical testing of AC, DC, LV and HV Electrical Networks * Cable terminations, glanding and verification.* Understand and interpret drawings and specifications* ECS (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) or EUSR* IOSH Managing Safely or SSSTS/SMSTS * A full UK driving licence, HOURS: 8-5, Overtime after 5.
