Foundry Operative - Sand Moulder

Location: Lye

Hours: 05.00 am - 13.00 pm - plus two hours overtime each day and Saturdays are also available

Job Description:

Our client in Lye have won multiple new customers and are expanding rapidly they are looking for hard working individuals to join their team

Set up and configure moulding equipment to produce accurate sand moulds and cores.
Mix sand and binder materials to create optimal mould compositions.
Inspect moulds for quality and accuracy before use in metal casting processes.
Utilize hand tools and machinery to shape and finish moulds as per specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and improve mould quality.
Document and report production metrics and any anomalies in the moulding process.
Continuously learn and implement best practices for mould-making and materials handling.
