Foundry Operative - Sand Moulder

Location: Lye

Hours: 05.00 am - 13.00 pm - plus two hours overtime each day and Saturdays are also available

Job Description:

Our client in Lye have won multiple new customers and are expanding rapidly they are looking for hard working individuals to join their team

  • Set up and configure moulding equipment to produce accurate sand moulds and cores.
  • Mix sand and binder materials to create optimal mould compositions.
  • Inspect moulds for quality and accuracy before use in metal casting processes.
  • Utilize hand tools and machinery to shape and finish moulds as per specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and improve mould quality.
  • Document and report production metrics and any anomalies in the moulding process.
  • Continuously learn and implement best practices for mould-making and materials handling.

Due to the nature of what our client manufactures candidates need to be aware that the work is fast paced and can require heavy lifting
