Senior CAD TechnicianLocation: Stourbridge, West MidlandsSalary: Competitive, up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Hours: Full-time, office-based (8am – 4pm) with occasional site visits

As a Senior CAD Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the design and manufacturing teams through accurate, detailed technical drawings and documentation. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to sites for surveys and client meetings.

• Maintain and update all project drawing files and technical documentation

• Produce precise working drawings for manufacture and installation

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure project specifications are met

• Attend site surveys to collect measurements and assess requirements

• Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations

• Participate in project meetings and contribute technical expertise

• Liaise with contractors to ensure smooth project delivery

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Confident communicator, both written and verbal

• Full UK driving licence (required for site visits)

• Experience using Sage 50 Accounting

• Familiarity with health & safety standards in manufacturing and on-site environments

• Prior experience liaising with contractors

Full training will be provided on company procedures, systems, and industry standards to support your development within the role.
