THE ROLE:
A great permanent job opportunity for a welder / fabricator with solid TIG welding experience able to produce consistently high quality work from engineering drawings, ideally you will have been or will be coded (or looking to get coded) and you will be keen to work on more challenging materials and projects in future.
You will enjoy working in a growing and successful engineering business where you are well supported and can continue to develop.
THE ROLE:
In this role you will work from engineering drawings to assemble and weld up a range of products and projects, working with precision and accuracy.
You will inspect and quality check your work to ensure all appropriate standards are met and work to company health and safety standards at all times as well as contributing to the production environment in other ways when required.
SKILLS NEEDED:
To apply for this role you should:
- Have experience of a range of welding techniques including TIG working on products requiring a high level of dimensional accuracy and integrity.
- Be keen to develop your skills further and achieve coding as required.
- Be reliable, consistent and self-motivated, keen to work as part of a team.
- Work with efficiency and accuracy following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Any experience of pipework, pressure vessels etc. is desirable. Experience of stainless and / or working with more exotic materials would be great but not essential.
