We have an opening for a Manufacturing Planner working for a large company based in Stourport
The manufacturing planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production, on-time delivery and optimal use of resources. The role requires advanced excel skills and hands-on experience with sage to manage data, forecasts and production plans accurately
Main responsibilities
- Create and maintain production plans and schedules
- Maintain accurate planning and production data within sage, including works orders stock levels and bills of materials
- Liaise with production, procurement and sales teams to align plans with material availability and customer requirements
- Monitor production progress, identify risks and delays and implement corrective actions
- Advanced working on Excel (pivot tables formulas, data analyst) to demand, capacity and performance.
The right candidate
- Would have experience in planning or production planning
- Have advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Ideally have manufacturing sage experience
- Be a strong communicator
- Highly organised with time management experience
- Have working experience in a busy manufacturing company
- Be happy to commuter across 2 sites when needed
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm
