Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor on site just outside of Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire.
This candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager and overseeing the work of the Maintenance Team on the night shift (10 pm - 6: 30 am, Sunday to Thursday).
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all production machinery, equipment, etc
- Managing a small team of maintenance technicians
- Ensuring that all work is completely safe, efficient, and compliant
- Minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support business production goals
- Providing on-the-job training and identifying deficiencies in existing skills
- Resolve issues with minimal disruption to production or operations
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical certification or degree qualification in industrial maintenance
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance with an extra 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work night shifts and be available for emergency repairs during off-hours
Pay - up to 19.62 per hour with 1.50 per hour shift allowance
This is a permanent contract with a long standing local company.
