The following tasks are the main responsibilities associated with the role
- Maintain and record stock levels of store inventory
- Undertake stock checks as required and report accordingly
- Manage audits in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager
- Manage the stores area to ensure easy access to stock
- Ensure all stock is allocated and recorded accurately
- Arrange transport of goods to and from site
- Process orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Operate Forlikft or PPT as required
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience in a similar role of stock control and procurement
- Previous experience of procurement and buying systems
- Experience within Engineering would be advantageous
- Good IT skills including previous use of CMMS system
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Forklift Licence
The role is Mon-Fri 0830-1700 and the pay-rate is up to £14.50 an hour
