Clinical Policy Advisor

Colchester, Essex

3 days per week - 22.5 hours

£20,400 per annum

6 month fixed term contract

Healthcare Homes are recruiting for a Clinical Policy Advisor to join our team based at our Apex office, Colchester.  This role will ensure all Clinical Governance policies, procedures and associated documents for Healthcare Homes Group and aligned to national best practice.  This is a 6 month fixed term contract working 3 days per week.

About the role

Working as part of our Clinical Governance and Regulations Team, you will review and revise all Clinical Governance policies, procedures and associated documents as they are due for revision, write any new policies or procedures required as a result of regulatory changes and internal processes, and assist in the delivery of policy surgeries with the Clinical Governance and Regulations Director.  

About you

The ideal candidate will have a good clinical knowledge and experience in clinical terminology, have a knowledge of social care regulatory frameworks and ideally experience in reviewing and writing policies.   This role would be suitable for a nurse or an experienced healthcare professional.  Due to the nature of this role, a valid NMC PIN would not be required.

You will have experience using Word for creating documents and amending tracked changes and have the confidence to deliver training on any policy or procedural changes.
