Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Stowmarket - IP14 2QU
Shifts: Monday to Friday starting from 3pm, 6pm and 8pm shifts lasting between 8 and 12 hours
Pay Rate: 16 -18 per hour depending on times worked (Overtime paid at 24 - 27 after 8 hours a day)

We are looking for dedicated Class 1 Drivers to join our team at our Stowmarket site on a temp to perm basis, for the right candidate.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Single drop trunk work with potentially one return load per evening
• Adhering to road traffic laws
• Daily vehicle checks
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards
• Operating a curtain sider trailer

Requirements:

• We'll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
• You'll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
